In the definition of a maxillofacial "institute" we include university departments, hospital/clinic department or division, research department and even national health or private practice, the latter two under the explicit understanding, that regular surgery is carried out by the practitioner in a certified hospital or clinic

Preamble
Institutes affiliated to MAXXFAXX align their management and treatment along internationally accepted lines, as depicted in these pages. These include:
- attention to disease prevention
- optimal patient diagnosis and treatment strategies
- cost-consciousness
- radiation-consciousness
- avoidance of unnecessary interventions, unnecessarily long time-spans (patient waituing times, duration of intervention)
Application form
Terms and conditions
- The affiliated institutes take responsibility for their data as published on these pages.
- An annual fee of €100,00 per institute is payable for management of the site.
- The members are responsible for informing the site of examinations passed, additional services offered and retirement or change of ownership.
- Operative and diagnostic skills are acknowledged to the initiating author, use of these is free of charge, but requires reference to the inventor.
- Members are invited to offer locum tenens or practices over the site
- Family members will be able to consult the site where sudden illness or incapacity has resulted in a loss of the principal member of the practice and an urgent intermediate or permanent successor is sought
